#NEED&WANT 002
October 01 is here again. Nigeria is now 58….Hurray🎉🎊
Just like every individual, Our country Nigeria keeps growing yearly….
No Nigeria’s age keep growing not the economy, not culture, not the traditions, not the lifestyle and not all that is to proudly say a country is improving.
The figure just keeps adding up.
Trying to analyze what exactly the problem is;
The youths point fingers at leaders in charge
The leaders calls the youth lazy and not productive.
Well….. Both parties are right with their claims and they are equally responsible for the state Nigeria is today. Ask me why?
The Government:
What is democracy; Govt of the people, for the people and by the people.
Nigeria today has now become Govt of themselves ,for themselves and by themselves. Democracy in Nigeria has now become a joke.
Those in power only render help to themselves. Once they leave a particular post they replace it with their children or a family member.
Youth/citizen: Their believe is once they’ve performed their civic right (voting), everything is now in the hands of the elected person to take charge….Wrong❌
Mere manifesto or promises during a campaign is not only what makes a person worthy for a post in government. Actions speaks louder than noise.
All leaders make promises which is normal but the question is how many fulfill their promises?
Just because a government has failed in providing a better economy for us doesn’t mean we should all give up and lose hope.
A journey of a thousand mile begins with a single step. To make a better country, a better Nigeria for us, it begins with me, you, it begins with all of us.
Leaving the government aside, The change can begin with us; it is not necessary with start on a bigger platform where we can be noticed.
How we behaviour from within matters a lot, in school, community etc
Relying on the government with how things are today, is nothing but a waste of time. The future of this county is not in the hands of the government but in our hands.
Just like it takes a single person to start a rebel, just one person is needed to make a better home for us.
Travelling out of the country for a better life is a mindset that should be changed. If the trends keeps going on and on, our suffering and hardship just began.
When all those who have what it takes to leave the country for a better place are gone what about those who don’t have the finance.
Removing a political party from power to replace it with another doesn’t guarantee a better Nigeria. At this junction and state we are in, our fate is in our hands. Making a reference to what a friend said; Power of the people is greater than those in power .
With love, support, and appreciating one another, we all can change a zero Nigeria to a hero Nigeria.
