Doe hadn’t spent much time to be himself. He had spent countless night planning on how to take General down. He sighed as he laid horizontally on his bed. He hadn’t been finding peace in music like he used to. The beautiful distractions he found in the solitude were all gone.
All that rang in his head was how he would get his brother out of captivity and perhaps kill General, if his soul had drifted in the dark side of heart.
He picked up his phone, and tried surfing the internet just to try and re-live the social life he had ten years ago in just few minutes.
“Can we come in”. Vanessa said as she stood behind the door that was halfway closed.
“Of course you can. It’s your house”. Doe said as he still laid on the bed and focused on his phone.
“But, it’s your room”. Vanessa sighed as Julie pushed her in the room.
Doe! We are here to talk. Uhmm! We have been secretly helping in finding of Bertrand and we will like to disclose the information to you. Julie said.
Doe’s attention drifted from the phone. He stood up and sat upright on the bed.
“Just in time! But when you say secretly, it makes me feel like you stole the file i dropped for you to find from me. I just wanted you to partake in finding your brother, so you wouldn’t feel useless, like you were, when he was searching for me”. Doe yawned. I am sorry, if that hit you, but i just had to say it.
“No offence taken”. Vannessa said.
“So what now”. Julie nodded.
“It’s about to get really dangerous and scary, but you have to be ready for whatever consequence that is coming off it”. Doe said.
“I am in”. Julie said.
“We are in”. Vanessa said.
“Okay. Well, i am going to use you both as bait”. Doe said.
“What?” They both shouted.
“Spoiler alert”. Doe smirked
