University generational drama.
Shade, 400l physiology, is calling Yetunde, 300l microbiology, mama/mummy.
Then Yetunde is calling Tola, 400L zoology, Grannie.
Tola [ At 400l ] has a school father that’s in 400L too.
The bomb.. Neither tola nor her silly, lousy big boy school father can speak English, lead people, give advise, command respect, show courage, reason well, or, confront dogma. 400 level!
But, let’s go on sha. The Lord is in control for this generation.
Let’s call the school father Paul.
So, Paul has a god son in 100l. The god son sees Paul as a mentor, a guider and counsellor, someone to go to for fatherly advise when a girl isn’t wanting his advances, someone to go to for help to come and threaten a fellow 100l mate that sat in his seat when he went to buy buns and refused to stand up.
The school son is dating the younger sister of Yetunde [ Yetunde, 300l microbiology]
When Yetunde and the sister gets to the hostel in the night, younger sister complains to Yetunde about how daft, cowardly and bratty her boyfriend is.
But sister shuts her up. Says she’s too mischievous and too demanding of the young, cute, rich boy. Says she should check herself and never leave him because she will never find a better man in life. Tell her to cook for him, tend to his needs, Scrub his bathroom, wash his underwears, keep his dogs company.
Because, those are the qualities of a true wife material and those are the things men look out for..
Else, he will find another girl better than her.
Then Yetunde reminds younger sister that she has spent three years here so she has the full experience to tell her what’s wrong and right.
Younger sister tries to rebel. May succeed and may not.
The end of a generation.
