Nigerian rapper, Butosh has released the second installment for his “Reflection” album series, naming this volume “Smiles and Cries”.
This serves as his second studio album featuring guest artists like Doe Bades, Tife, Rotimsky and Dammyprinz. Talking about the album, He said:
During the journey of self discovery (Reflection vol 1), Family was always there.
This project highlights the ups and down of family and the scars they leave on kids which in turn shape them into who they’re in the society.
Reflecting on different moments in marriage; domestic violence, cheating partner, distant marriage, depression, single parenting and accountability.
The bedrock of every society is the core family value, but the faith in it is gradually fading away.
Our smiles and cries are the only thing we own in our lifetime and we must always be in control over them, every family has their smiles and cries, how they handle it is what shapes us all.
You don’t have to be miserable because you’re married. You dont have to lose hope coz you see miserable marriages, I’ll be there forever.
