The men’s club. The first and last Nigerian web series I ever watched was Skinny Girl In Transit. And I definitely enjoyed watching it, as it was interesting. And then I started seeing people talking about TMC, most people had positive things to say, which made me wonder what TMC was and if it was another American movie.
That was when I was told that it fully meant The Men’s Club, and it was a Nigerian webseries just like Skinny Girl In Transit. I was intrigued, and then I was told I didn’t need to go through a tough time downloading it, I could easily just watch it on YouTube, I made my way to YouTube. I enjoyed it straight from episode 1, it was not too much, just something you can relax and watch and really have a good time.
And once again Ayoola Ayolola killed his role, after his acting in skinny girl in transit, I fell in love with his acting, and then seeing him here again just made me happy, instead of his lover boy role in skinny girl in transit, he got the role of someone who does not really care about feelings, but he still retains his rich boy character, which the fans seem to love.
Most people said the web series looked like one they didn’t really spend much on, I do agree with them, but when watching it, I didn’t expect too much, and though it is not the best of quality, but it is still interesting and relaxing to watch. It was done by RedTv and sponsored by UBA. There are other actors like Sharon Ooja, Baaj Adebule and others.
And it talks about 4 men sorrounded by money, women, business and the hassles of the city, simply put, a mixture of love, friendship and betrayal, giving off the wazobia vibes, as the 4 men are from different tribes.
