After picking up the award for the next rated, Reekado Banks has continued to evolve as an artist and we are justified to say he is a year more established today. After his first album, Reekado Banks engaged in more features from collaboration with Falz to YCee and so on Reeky baby seems to be getting better musically.
The end of 2017 received two major hits from the Mavin signed; Easy Jeje and Like both of which were successful in their own rights but the review for today is on the hit “Like” in which he featured Tiwa Savage and Fiokee.
Go Shorty, it’s your birthday. Yeah yeah Reekado’s lyrics, chorus and hook were all delivered with an unwaving flair the young artist has continued to grow in. The song was released as a birthday gift to his loyal fans and for those who appreciate good music.
This is a vibe at all levels, one thing about Reekado’s songs is that they happen to be hits not hits because they’re promoted, but based on the very fact that he has continued to show his greatness at orchestrating his verses vocally with the support of his team.
Tiwa Savage was overly impressive as usual with no question as to her level of talent and skills but one thing that got my attention was the introduction of an instrumentalist Fiokee. Fiokee was impressive no lies.
