Sky Castle The Korean melodrama simply talks about house wives living at the exclusive Sky castle community, and use every way they can think of, to get their children into the prestigious Seoul National University.
The drama talks about the length at which the parents go in order to get their children into Seoul National University.
The parents do not even consider for one second why their children might want to become, they feel like they know what is best for them and most times feel like they must carry on the family line of study, by becoming the 3rd or 4th or even 5th generation of doctors or lawyers and the likes.
For me, I enjoyed every bit of this drama, as when it gets intense on one hand, the producer was able to lighten the mood with comedy. It is a satire and dark comedy drama. And it Is definitely one to keep you on your toes. It has only one season, and just 20 episodes.
It Talked about how a private tutor who ruined her son’s life because of high expectations, is willing to do the same for other people’s children, and the parents too in the sky castle are not willing to learn from the mistakes of the other resident who happened to have killed herself because the tutor had taken their son away from them.
On one hand, there is that entertainment to be enjoyed, on the other hand there is that lesson to be learned.
