A non-governmental organization; Green House Resource Center (GHRC) which is based in Nigeria has appointed the CEO of Olofofo Uniosun; Olatunde Temitayo as the Public Relations Officer of the organization.
The appointment was officially made on October 13th, 2017 at the NGO centre in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
The coordinator of the NGO; Mr Adenitan Olufemi briefed our correspondents on the aims and objectives of the organization. “GHRC is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with an ideology solidly premised on social expediency, services tied to social protection for vulnerable persons ‘the Women, Youth and the poor’ with sustenance focused on love for humanity. We do not get paid for our humanitarian service”; he said.
“Our passion is premised on providing social protection for the poor and Internally Displaced Persons in Nigeria and GHRC has advocated for this category of persons such as advocacy for the voice of the voiceless and socially excluded victims in diverse international fora such as the just concluded conference tagged: “World Youth Forum” in Italy where we gave presentation on “Conflict Resolution under International Law: Utilizing Dialogue and Diplomacy in the UN’s R2P Doctrine” also in UK, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Cote D’ Iviore among others”; Mr Adenitan added.
The coordinator further said that Olofofo Uniosun will be in charge of the website of the NGO as an experienced blogger. He added that Olofofo Uniosun will be part of their research team.
Mr Adenitan Olufemi is an alumnus of Osun State University; he had his Master’s Programme in ISS of Erasmus University Netherlands and now a final year Law Student of University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
In an interview with the CEO of Olofofo Uniosun, he expressed his happiness and commitments. “Today, I am glad that I have joined the community of advocates who are into selfless service. I also appreciate my audience for believing in me” he said.
The organization is currently working on series of project among them is the international conference titled; “Decolonizing the Mind” in University of Ibadan, Faculty of Law.
