Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian is set to move to Serie A champions Juventus this summer after his agent met with the Italian club’s sporting director.
Darmian’s agent has met with Fabio Paratici to discuss a possible move away and negotiations are ongoing.
The 28-year-old joined United ahead of the 2015/16 season and made 28 Premier League appearances under former manager Louis van Gaal, helping the club win the 2016 FA Cup.
The Italian has failed to nail down a starting spot under Jose Mourinho and it is believed he will be allowed to leave.
Darmian has the option to sign on for an extra year at Old Trafford when his current deal expires at the end of next season but previously said he was happy that Juventus were interested in him.
