I am sure this coronavirus period has been hectic for us all, really, having to sit at home, doing nothing mostly for we students, most of us have almost watched all the series and movies Netflix has to offer.
This lockdown has really made me widen my horizon in terms of movie or series watching, then I hardly watched a Korean drama series, but now, that is basically what I am all about. And there was this new series I started, Chip-In, it is a k-drama series, but it reminded me so much of knives out, I am sure most of you might have watched it, an American movie, where a rich guy died and the question was, who out of all of them killed the man for his inheritance?
This drama Chip-In is a very interesting one and asides from the mystery it brings, the producers also worked hard to add comedy in the drama so the viewers not only gets roped in the mystery, but they also have things to laugh about.
The drama is just basically about a painter who called his close family to come and celebrate his birthday in his home. A total of nine people were gathered in the painter’s home for a week through which he was supposed to use to celebrate his birthday, apparently, it was meant to be the painter’s last birthday as he was diagnosed with a terminal illness, well at least that’s what we thought, until they all found out after his murder that he had recovered from the cancer!
I don’t really want to give out any spoilers till you watch the drama, but I can tell you that at this moment, I don’t even know who killed the painter. The drama is just 8 episodes, episodes 1 to 6 has been released, but everything will be released before the end of this month. But I can tell you that till you reach the last episode, you won’t know who killed the painter, all you will be doing is guessing who killed the painter. The actors even said it that they themselves didn’t know who killed the painter till the last scene.
This drama is a must watch as not only will you be kept at the edge of your seat suspense wise, you will also have a lot to laugh about.
