Without too much delay, the trio “Migos” dropped their fourth studio album titled Culture III.
Migos must be getting used to the Culture and ready to walk the talk as they released a fully packed fourth album with notable features from of course Cardi B and other artists like Polo G, Drake, Juice Wrld, Pop Smoke, Future, Justin Bieber and Young Boy NBA.
With already released Straightenin been a hit, i moved to the next song on the album that caught my attention. “Having Our Way” featuring Drake is the type of trap vibes to give you the feel good cruise. I got interested in the song from first listening and it is eadily my favorite on “Culture III” for now.
As expected, Future also delivered on “Picasso”, blending well into the Migos sound. The song made four look like one, making me wish the song was a little longer.
Production has always been a key part of Migos’ sound and it hasn’t been ever better than it came out in CULTURE III. Avaanche was the first track on the album and the Atlanta trie emphasized on their King status in trap scene. Quavo talked about his outburst with Saweetie and collecting the car back.
Putting Juice Wrld on Antisocial was all they needed to do as he killed the hook leaving them with the job of burying the track with their raps. Takeoff didn’t let the trio down as he has always been the best rapper, Offset was a little off in the album and Quavo’s vibe was brought back to life.
“What You See” featuring Justin Beiber is a good song too, I enjoyed the hook from Justin and the rap was talking about how good they can make their partner feel. Other songs i’ll be highlighting for you to listen on the album are “Light It Up” featuring Pop Smoke, “Malibu” featuring Polo G and “Type Shit” featuring Cardi B.
It is a solid album overall, i’ll give it a 7.
