This covid period has really dampened everyone’s mood all around the world. And we have been looking for ways to lighten up the mood, as we need just the right song, movie, anything that would make everyone happy to be alive this period.
And that’s what BTS just gave us, in form of a hit single! BTS have really come far worldwide as when they first broke into the international scene back in 2017, they were not really accepted by the foreign market, but now here they are breaking as many records as they can!
They released their new hit single, dynamite on the 21st of August, and it has been well received far and wide, as it marks the group’s fist all English single. As they broke every record breakable, they even topped billboard charts, spotify chart, apple charts and even iTunes charts. They had the highest digital sales worldwide with in 24 hours, knocking cardi b and Megan thee stallion’s WAP to number 3 as even their instrumentals occupied the 2nd position. The music video also broke records as it became the first YouTube video to hit over 100million views in 24 hours upon its release!
Surprising right? The K-pop sensation has broken every single record breakable, not only with this new hit single they have released, but also with previous hit tracks, and they have been welcomed by fans worldwide, with Nigeria not being an exception.
Some people just see them as another boy band from Korea, but trust me when I tell you that they have broken that boundary, as they have moved up to higher levels that even the popular British boy band, One Direction could not meet, and they are dragging with former boyband legends, The Beatles.
That’s how good they are, no exaggerations, and to those yet to listen to them, to those who have written them off with the excuse of, ‘they sing in Korean, so I don’t understand’, here is a pure English single, that will surely blow your minds, with its upbeat and catchy vibes. The song is truly a DYNAMITE!
