It is another sad break of the day in Nigeria as another rape case surfaces. It’s been 5 days straight with different cases of rape and justice been cried for.
In the late hours of Tuesday, 2nd of June, a female student of Institute of Agricultural Research and Training, Ibadan, Bello Barakat was stabbed to death by armed robbers after she refused to be raped.
Barakat was home with her parents when the armed robbers came to their house and made an attempt to rape her, she resisted and the armed robbers stabbed her to death.
The news was shared on Facebook by a certain Tunji Olatunji who showed his fear for the security of females in the country and protecting them from rape.
