Manchester United have had a bid of £66m for Willian accepted by Chelsea FC, according to reports in Italy.
Italian outlet Tuttosport, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Red Devils have finally made a breakthrough in their attempts to sign the Brazilian attacker this summer.
Manchester United have been strongly linked with a move to sign Willian for the last few months as Jose Mourinho looks to be reunited with the Chelsea FC star.
Willian’s future has been a constant source of speculation in recent months due to the fact that he struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team last season.
According to the same story, Manchester United have now had a bid for Willian accepted, and the Brazilian is now primed to become Manchester United’s fourth signing of the summer.
It is also claimed in the same article that Manchester United could also make a bid to try and sign defender Gary Cahill from Chelsea FC this summer as Mourinho looks to bolster his back-line.
Meanwhile, Manchester United will be aiming to be one of the main contenders for the Premier League title next season after they finished second last term.
