There is no doubt about it, when it comes to The Conjuring Series, the producers never miss.
A lot of movie releases got postponed last year as they result of Coronavirus, and The Conjuring 3 was one of them.
A lot of people anticipated the release of this movie, because the trailer alone was enough to make one intrigued.
It is no news that The Conjuring Series is based on the stories of paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren, but this particular one made a lot of people curious, because how do you even think of explaining to a jury that the devil made you commit a crime?
The Conjuring 3, also known as The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is a 2021 American Supernatural Horror film, directed by Michael Chaves, and it serves as the third sequel to The Conjuring 2 [2016] and The Conjuring 1 [], and it is also the 8th instalment in The Conjuring Universe, with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprising their roles as paranormal investigators [Ed and Lorraine Warren].
The movie stars Patrick Wilson, Vera Farmiga, Rauiri O’Connor, Sarah Catherine Hook and Julian Hilliard. The movie was originally slated for a September 2020 release, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the movie was delayed.
The movie starts off with a young boy who was possessed by Satan, but during an exorcism, the boy becomes possessed, and his sister’s lover [Arne] pleads with the demon to take him instead, and the demon does exactly that.
Arne is later arrested over the death of his girlfriend’s boss [Bruno], as while he was possessed, Arne stabbed him 22 times, the Warrens now have to figure a way to convince the judge and the jury that Arne did it under the possession of the devil. And while uncovering secrets behind the possession, they also solve a cold murder that happened years ago.
The movie is really good, they managed to keep us in suspense all the while wondering who was behind the satanic relics that they kept on finding in those homes. What made the movie even more intense is the fact that it is based on a true life story.
For me, the Conjuring 3 is the best horror movie released this year, totally different from the usual haunted House storyline, and was definitely worth watching.
