In what seems to be a surprising development, a Commissioner in Borno state has been captured on camera flogging women.
In the viral video, Borno State Commissioner For Agriculture, Bukar Talba, was seen publicly flogging women and chasing them out of a public gathering.
The details of the video is still unknown, but Dogo M Shettima, Humanitarian, Social Welfare Officer, claimed that those being flogged were not the “real beneficiaries of the food items , so they must be convicted “.
He wrote:
Mischief don’t work on those who God has them stand among men. These are unmarried and not part of the beneficiaries of palliative support. Those been caned and drove away are not aged, widows , disabled or real beneficiaries of the food items , so they must be convicted .”
