The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has announced the official date for this year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Mr. Patrick Areghan, the Head of the Nigeria office, made the announcement on Tuesday.
According to him, WASSCE will commence on August 16, 2021.
Areghan said: “In accordance with the Final International Timetable, the WASCCE (SC) 2021 will commence throughout the sub-region from Monday, 16h August to Friday, 8th October 2021.”
He added that WASSCE will run for a period of seven weeks in Nigeria.
“The examination will end in Nigeria on 30 September 2021 spanning a period of seven – weeks,” Areghan said.
