The Joker; In Rotten Tomatoes words the movie; Joker gives its infamous central character a chillingly plausible origin story that serves as a brilliant showcase for its star — and a dark evolution for comics-inspired cinema.
I dont kmow about rotten tomatoes but Joker is DC comics sorry attempt at creating a super villain movie like Marvel’s Venom, The Joker has to be the greatest villain on the DC rooster as he has continued to remain a thorn in the flesh of The Batman.
The movie had its official release on October 4th 2019 in Nigeria and a whole lot of Nigerians saw it as a waste of time and money, me included.
The story line was a confusing one as it took a rather distant approach from the Joker storyline we usually saw in the movie Batman, this storyline switched from the joker dropping in a chemical that altered his personality to an abusive child who became what he was as a result of violence.
The movie lacked a concrete approach in action as for me the story line was everywhere so many simultaneous events happening at the same time making it hard to focus on one event.
For me i would definitely rate this movie a 4/10 because i was left confused instead of entertained, Venom for me provided a comical side, with enough action, the villain in Venom was still maintained as it was the same story line in that of spiderman.
I felt as though DC comics could have done better in putting out a better story line and i felt the actor who played the Joker did so to the best of his ability but i felt Jared Leto would have pulled it off better.
Well guys this is just my opinion but you can actually catch the movie Joker in cinemas today and let me know what you think about it. Toodles……
