Nowadays, we see a lot of “CIA rogue agent” movies to the extent that if nothing new or exciting is done, it just becomes another boring movie not worthy of recommendation.
And the new movie that has a lot of negative reviews is, WITHOUT REMORSE. I saw the description of the movie on a site, and I was interested, so I decided to give it a try.
When the movie first started, I was hooked, because even from the first few seconds, the movie looked promising, but the more I watched, the more I got bored and the storyline became less interesting
It became the usual, “compromised operation”, the only surprising thing was that the person I thought was the mole, was not actually the mole.
Also, the ending felt rushed, as they didn’t even take time to explain how they found out who the real mole is, it is like they jumped a couple of scenes or they had to rush the scenes so the movie would fit into the 1hr mark.
Most people were not too satisfied with the movie, because they did not bring anything new or different than what we have already seen or watched, they could have done better.
The movie personally was good, but not good enough, as I felt like Tom Clancy and Paramount had the resources to create something so much better than they did.
WITHOUT REMORSE is a movie that follows the life of John Kelly, a US Navy SEAL who sets out on a path of revenge after his pregnant wife and units members are killed by Russians. The plot was originally written in 1993 but Sheridan has to re-write the plot.
The movie stars Michael B Jordan, Jamie Bell, Jodie Turner-Smith, Luke Mitchell, Jack Kesy. It was written by Taylor Sheridan and Will Staples and was directed by Steffano Sollima.
