Rave of the moment, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema has made Nigerians proud as he gets inducted into the Guinness World Book of Records.
The 23-year old music star achieved the feat with his global hit song ‘Calm Down’ which made history as the First No.1 Hit on The Official MENA Chart (the world’s first regional streaming chart).
The hit song which continues to pave way for Rema has gotten him recognition in Guinness World Book of Records after hitting a billion streams on Spotify.
According to the statement on their official website, Rema was being recognized for securing the first number 1 hit on the world’s first regional streaming chart and first-ever official chart in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
He now joins Femi Kuti and Wizkid as Nigerian musicians with World Guinness records.
