The signing of Bellingham was finalised on Monday, June 5 in London, in the offices of his representatives, who gave the final push to an operation that Real Madrid have been gently working on with the player and his father, Mark Bellingham.
He arrives at Real Madrid to reinforce the midfield, a position Los Blancos have dominated in Europe with an iron fist over the last decade and are slowly making a transition.
In this first season, Kroos and Modric will continue to play a pivotal role, but with the youngsters gaining weight in the team. Bellingham arrives as the star and franchise player of the future.
