Inasmuch as the phenomenon of ‘One Corner’ has been massive, Ghanaians as usual take things too far and turn it into something else.
A couple of teenagers in the Brong Ahafo Region have died after they were spotted dancing one corner whilst riding a motorbike.
Kwabena Fante, 17 and Nyarko Abronoma, 15, were riding on the bike at Ntotroso when the unfortunate accident occurred.
According to the Ghana News Agency, they were dancing whilst riding and people had noticed their dangerous actions but they ignored all warnings to stop.
“They were on the motorbike dancing to the tune when they collided with another person who was skidding off the road and crashed into a structure.” the GNA report reads.
The bodies have since been deposited at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Hospital mortuary at Hwidiem. One other person is in the hospital in critical condition.
