Manchester United extended their unbeaten streak to sixteen as they beat struggling Bournemouth 5-2 in the Premier League.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are now unbeaten in their last 16 matches across all competitions, a run that stretches back to January.

Prior to today’s match, the visitors had failed to keep a clean sheet in 15 Premier League matches, and had lost 10 of their last 11 Premier League away games, while no side has lost more on the road in the top flight this season.

Solskjaer named an unchanged team for the game at Old Trafford, with Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba both starting after an inaccurate news report published on Friday said the pair were doubts after a clash in training.

United won 5-2 courtesy of a brace from Mason Greenwood plus goals from Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Anthony Martial.

Junior Stanislas and Josh King both scored for Bournemouth.
