Daniel has turned out to be a confused soul ever since Janet started
acting up. He believed they had the perfect relationship, but now that
Janet seems to be hiding a lot from him; their gracy relationship is
heading for the grass.
“Jane! I don’t understand you anymore. Why the hell have you be acting
like i don’t even exist, and you claim i’m the love of your life”.
Daniel said yelling. “I really can’t have you in my life, if all you
want to do is be like this”.
Daniel’s wrong choice of words triggered Janet’s anger.
“I am not surprised, because if you really want me in your life, you
wouldn’t have lied to me about you having a twin brother”. Janet
yelled. “You took advantage of my ailment, and the fact that you guys
are unidentical, you lied that he was just an illusion, straight to my
face”.
Daniel was shocked, when he heard all Janet spoke, which got him
thinking and lost in thoughts.
“So that’s why you’ve been distant. Because you found out about Doe”.
Daniel said in a soft and low voice.
“Yes! How could you lie to me?” Janet pondered. “Anyways we are done.
I don’t think i want you in my life either”. Janet dropped the phone
she had been holding tight on the sofa and left Daniel to puzzle about
his faults. Daniel tried apologising but she wouldn’t just listen.
Deep down in her, she could hold Daniel and Doe’s love both at the
same time.
She packed all her luggage and called a mobile taxi.
“Jane, please don’t leave. Please don’t leave. I am sorry. Please!
This would never repeat itself. Baby please!! ” Daniel pleaded.
“The moment you started living both your life and you brother’s and
keeping me in the dark, everything changed. Bye Daniel!”
Daniel held her hand so she wouldn’t leave, but her mind was already
made up. She pulled her hand off Daniel’s and ran towards the taxi as
tears drolled from her face.
Daniel stood still as he watched the taxi zoom off from his sight. He
wept bitterly and couldn’t feel nothing but guilt and anger for his
brother.
“Doe! You’re so dead”. He said as he wiped the tears of his face.
