Korean dramas seem to be the rave nowadays, as we are now seeing a lot of people paying attention to Korean dramas, where a perfect example of this is the Squid Game.
Korean dramas have proven to have evolved way beyond the usual love story or plot that we are used to.
As people are enjoying those dramas that have little or no romance in them, even more than those that are based on romance.
The Korean drama I would like to recommend is Devil Judge. A drama series with a different plot than we usually see, is really refreshing.
I first saw a few clips of the drama on Instagram, before the whole 16 episodes were even released, and the drama received a lot of positive reviews online.Although I didn’t watch it immediately they finished releasing the entire drama, as I watched it a few weeks later and I can say that it was worth it.
Though it was not a perfect drama, it was interesting to watch.I had a few issues with the drama, with my major issue being with one of the female leads, as I felt like there was almost no need for her character to be present in the drama.
The drama had 2 lead actresses and while one of the lead actresses had an important role (her being the villain) the second lead actress had an unimportant role, as I felt like the movie would have still been great without her presence, as I did not see the need for her character in the drama.
With the drama being set in a dystopia version of South Korea where people harbour hatred towards their leaders and live in chaos, the drama talks about how trials are held through a courtroom live show aired on TV, where 3 judges come together to bring justice and peace.
It is a different plot from the usual Korean drama plot that we see and despite being so, the drama is very interesting and worth the positive reviews it got. The drama stars Ji Sung, Kim Min Jung, Park Gyu Young, Park Jinyoung and many others.
