The reality TV star is being accused of racism after she posted new photos to promote her Good American clothing line. Two of the photos in question feature Khloe, who is rumoured to be pregnant with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, with model Slick Woods. In the photo that’s stirring up controversy, Woods is kneeling with her hand wrapped around Kardashian’s knee, as she looks down on her and touches the back of Woods’ head.
For many social media users, the image suggests a master-slave relationship as one user commented underneath the Instagram post: ‘Dear Khloe: you are disgusting. To think having a black woman kneel at your side is ok is beyond me. ‘You did this knowing exactly what you were doing. Don’t try to say you didn’t know better. It’s 2017! The year of blatant racism.. and you are in the race!’
Meanwhile another stated: ‘Maybe if Khloe has a different pose and facial expressions it wouldn’t portray the Master and the Slave.’ Another remarked: ‘What makes it worse is the way Khloe is looking down at her.’
Khloe captioned the photo in question: ‘This chick right here is crazy, sexy, cool all rolled into one @slickwoods! Slick was so much fun to shoot with! She’s a force to be reckoned with! #GoodSquad #GoodAmerican.’ Slick Woods has worked with Calvin Klein and Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty and is well known for her trademark shaved head. Meanwhile, other fans were more focused on the apparent ‘baby bump’ they could see. The pictures show Khloe in a revealing leather black dress and among the comments praising Khloe for her look were many who believed the picture showed a hint of baby bump.
It is thought Khloe is currently four months pregnant and expecting her first child. ‘Aw look at her little baby bump! (sic),’ wrote one fan while another asked: ‘Is that baby bump or I’m just trippin?’ Another thought for sure that they could ‘see that bump’. Khloe has yet to speak out on the news, and has kept herself covered up when spotted out and about. It was suggested that the uncharacteristic radio silence from the family suggests that there may be plans in the works for some kind of headline-stealing joint pregnancy reveal from the sisters; sister Kim has already confirmed she is expecting her third child, via a surrogate, in a teaser clip for the upcoming 14th season of their hit show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
