One of the tenets of most team sports is to keep one’s eye on the ball.
But for spectator and former ball player Alex Rodriguez that was no easy task considering he brought Jennifer Lopez as his date to a college basketball game in Miami on Monday.
The retired shortstop was seen sitting courtside with his glamorous girlfriend at the game between Duke Blue Devils and Miami Hurricanes.
The hometown team lost to the Blue Devils with a final score of 83 – 75. However, A-Rod surely struggled to keep track of the score as his impressive date made sure to offer him plenty of attention during the game, even planting a kiss on him.
J-Lo, 48, wore a mock turtleneck and large gold hoop earrings as she was seen taking selfies. Earlier that day they were spotted grabbing lunch at a restaurant in the Florida city.
They were joined by J Lo’s twins Max and Emme, nine, and several friends for food and conversation.
Afterwards Max showed mom something on a stickered laptop. Jennifer and Alex, who began dating in February 2017, are just shy of their one year anniversary.
Lopez has been married three times in the past, first in a brief union with writer Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998, then to backup dancer Cris Judd (2001 to 2003), and most recently to singer Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014.
She also turned heads during her high-profile relationships with rapper Sean P Diddy Combs and actor Ben Affleck.
