There are a lot of movies to watch out for this year, as a lot of them were to have been released since last year. But a lot of the release dates were rescheduled for this year due to the COVID-19 virus that took the world by storm.
And as such, movie producers had to reschedule the release of their movies for this year, and hopefully, we would be able to follow through with them.
There are a lot of movies to be released this year, but out of the various movies to be released, the two most anticipated movies would be released in May. And they are;
*Black Widow: so many hypes last year about the release of this Marvel superhero movie, but unfortunately, it could not be released due to the pandemic, so its release date was postponed till this year, and hopefully, it will be released this year.
The Black Widow like we all know is an American superhero movie that is the most anticipated movie from Marvel Studios and it would be distributed by Walt Disney Studios as well. It is intended to be the 24th film of the Marvel universe, as it stars Scarlette Johansson, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Ray Winstone, Racheal Weisz, and many more.
The movie was set after Captain America: Civil War, as following the events of the Civil War, Natasha Romanoff (black widow) finds herself alone and forced to confront a dangerous conspiracy, which ties her to her past.
Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Romanofff must deal with her history as a spy and also the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an avenger. The movie is set to be released on the 7th of May 2021.
*F9: Fast and Furious 9; this is one franchise that most people must have heard about, as this is one popular movie franchise. It is an upcoming American action film that is directed and co-written by Justin Lin with Daniel Casey. It is the sequel to the fate of the furious that was released back in 2017.
The movie will start its usual cast and a few added new cast, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, John Cena, Sung Kang, Jordana Brewster, and so on.
It takes place after the events of The Fate Of The Furious, where Dominic Toretto and his family must face Dominic’s younger brother, Jakob, who happens to be a deadly assassin and also working with their old enemy, Cipher, who now happens to hold a personal vendetta against Dominic.
Its first release date was set for April 2019 but was later delayed due to the release of Hobbs and Shaw, which was also released in 2019, and it was then moved to 2020, but due to COVID-19, it had to be postponed to 2021. And now its release date is set for May 28, 2021.
Other top movies that would be released are Mortal Kombat, Free Guy, Those Who Wished Me Dead, and many more.
