When i first heard the reviews from those who had seen the movie, I was not too excited to watch the movie, as I thought that it was not going to be worth it.
But then I still decided to watch it, as I had already downloaded the movie, and also to see how far the movie would go. And when I did watch the movie, I did not regret watching it, even for one bit.
Yes I could see reasons why people were not too excited about watching the movie, but then again I was caught in the action that the movie offered. Right from the first few minutes into the movie, you could feel the action.
There were times where by I felt like the actors were a bit awkward with one another, times where I felt like the synergy of these actors were a bit forced, but overall, the action covered the mistakes of the actors for me.
The fact that the action scenes were raw, I felt like they did well in that aspect, as they did not try to butter up the scenes, scenes where people were being ripped apart and destroyed, they gave us the raw details. Most people claimed that the movie was overrated and not so nice, well, personally, I think the movie was really nice.
The directors, actors and writers have a lot to work on, but they really tried, although they did not also ens the movie well.
At the end of the day what Mortal Kombat really is should not be forgotten, it’s a video game you can’t expect complex storylines from a game that primarily involves fighting. With this in mind the action aspect was thoroughly covered by Warner Bros which is why I would give the movie a 6.5/10 Mortal kombat is a 2021 American martial arts fantasy movie directed by Simon McQuoid.
The movie is based on the Mortal Kombat video game franchise, the movie installment is serving as a reboot of the Mortal kombat series.
The movie starred big screen and small screen actors; Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Tadanobu Alan, Mehcad Brooks, Ludi Lin, Chin Han, Joe Yashin and Hiroyuki Sanada.
The development of the movie began in 2010, where by the writers and the overall owners were not happy with the was the 1995 version did in the box office.
