Southampton vs Manchester United
The saints hosts the red side of Manchester in the early kick off of the matchday 4 having just both one a game so far this season with Manchester united just edging them with the draw point gotten against Wolverhampton wanderers. Manchester united having suffered a shocking injury time defeat yo crystal palace will look to redeem themselves against a saint team that won it’s first game in it’s last game.
Given the head to head stats manu is a clear favourite having won 20 times in the last 30 times of meeting as against the saints who have just manage 4 wins.
The fixtures will be a real test of character for Ole’s men who have gone under serious criticism in recent times due to their inconsistency.
I believe this will be a very tight game with a maximum of 2-3 goals at most. A full time draw is wild prediction but I believe an home boost for the saint and given United’s last game loss at home will play an important factor.
Most likely goal scorer for manu will be Marcos Rashford as the young English striker will look to start getting goals. For the saints Nathan Redmond always looks the dangerous and I wouldn’t put it past the former Liverpool striker Danny ings to pull out a miracle.
1-1 or 1-2
Crystal palace vs Aston villa
Palace will look to build on a famous win against Manchester united and continue winning against a villa side that also won it last match, with both teams looking likely to set up a thrilling encounter full of goals.. Both teams have the capacity to score and the instability in defence to conceed.
I believe this might end up being a game with 3+ goals and set up a match of the weekend encounter.
Wilfred zaha will of course be a major threat with jack grealish looking to be a man that villa can rely on.
2-2 or 3-2
Chelsea vs Sheffield united
In search of their first home win of the season, Chelsea will be taking a very stubborn Sheffield united side who has managed a 4 point in a possible 9 point in it’s first 3 games of the premier league. Sheffield united is a huge stun test for Chelsea but I believe Chelsea might just be able to peep out a slim victory after showing a lot of character against a stubborn Norwich side.
Tammy Abraham and mason mount will be looking to continue their goal scoring form with both player having managed 4 goals between them this season.
Chelsea will be looking to put the rough start behind them by getting their second win of the season.
3-1 or 2-1
Newcastle vs Watford
Ranked 19th and 20th respectively on the log, Watford as had the worst start of any premier league club this season having been the only club not to have registered a win losing it’s first 3 games.
They will be looking to change their fortune at st. James park against the magpies who have only manage a win in their first 3 games having signed a not so prolific bundesliga striker for a club record transfer fee.
With a porous Watford defence, I think the magpies might just peep themselves into a slim victory, but with Javi gracia looking for his first win of the season.
We might just have a thrilling encounter.
1-0 or 2-0
Manchester city vs Brighton
A fixtures that looks like a one way traffic, although Brighton has started the season on a high but they don’t look like a match for the champions, but I wouldn’t put it beyond Brighton to put up a good fight especially with their new and improved style of play. I just believe mancity has too much man power for them.
With sterling looking to continue his fantastic run having lost the pfa narrowly to Virgil last season.
4-1 or 3-1
West ham vs Norwich city.
Who would have thought new boy pukki had it in him to be joint top scorer of the premier league after 3 games, with the Norwich golden boy having 5 goals in just 3 games and scoring his first hatrick in just his second premier league game.
Norwich looks like a side that is here to stay and I think as the season goes on they’ll get better and better. They remind me of the Wolverhampton wanderers we had last season, tough to play and full of life.
The 3 point garnished might not have done well to how good they have actually played in their 3 games having managed to score 7 goals in just 3games average an over 2 goals per game.
Westham new boy Sebastian Haller also got a brace in their last game giving them their first win of the season.
A match not deprived of goals is what this encounter will definitely be.
2-2 or 2-3
Leicester vs Bournemouth
The foxes will be looking to host Eddie Howe’s men at the king power stadium in a riveting encounter that will be nothing short of amazing .
Rodger’s new team set up has managed to stay unbeaten having won two games and drawn one.
2-1 or 3-0
Burnley vs Liverpool
Burnley hosts the European champions in the last game on Saturday with Liverpool looking to continue their 100% start of the season.
Burnley also started the season well and have looked prolific in the last few games.
A problem for Liverpool might be their inability to keep a single clean sheet yet with Adrian still looking for his first clean sheet in the absence of Becker.
It also looks like a one way traffic with the fixture having a Liverpool win written all over it..
0-3 or 0-4
Everton vs wolves
The blue side of meyerside will be looking to host a wolves team who have drew their first 3 game and are yet to record a win with Everton having just manage a win in 3 games.
This is looking like a game that will most likely end up in a stalemate.
0-0 or 1-1
Arsenal vs Tottenham
Just 2 points seperates the two north London rivals with each team losing their last games to two contrasting teams. The Arsenal defense went under scrutiny with David Luiz being the scape goat after conceding what was considered silly goals against Liverpool. Spurs were no better losing to Newcastle by a lone goal.
Both team have what it takes to carry the day.
My favourite for the encounter will be Tottenham whose squad always look more formidable in my opinion.
But arsenal has started this season on a high note and I wouldn’t put a win past them also given that they are at home.
1-2 or 2-1
Below is the combined 11 of the 2 London clubs by me;
