We all have that TV series that was going well when we started watching it, but later on, the series got pointless and was just full of so many plot holes, well, just when I thought Elite could never be like that, I was in for a shock.
Last year, I stumbled upon Elite, what attracted me to the series is that it had only 8 episodes per season, so I thought, what could I possibly lose?
Already 3 seasons into the series, I started watching it. Right from the first episode, they had me captivated, I was sure that the series was going to be worth my time.
And it was definitely worth my time. After completing the 3 seasons, I patiently waited for the 4th season, and now after the release of the 4th season, all I can say is “I was not so impressed”.
The 4th season started off well, as they maintained that suspense the series is known for, but going further into the series, it was not too exciting anymore, as the remaining episodes did not have as much spark as the other seasons did.
I got lost in this season, as I found myself skipping so many scenes, and I thought to myself, I didn’t skip this many scenes for the three previous seasons.
And going through most of the reviews I realised that a lot of people would agree with me when I say this 4th season lost its spark.
And one of those reasons might be because of a change in most of the characters, but I noticed a lot of plot holes in the drama, and it was not as interesting and suspense-filled as the other seasons. And I hope they can do better for the 5th season.
Elite is a Spanish thriller teen drama TV series that was created for Netflix by Carlos Montero and Dario Madrona. The series of set in Las Encinas, a fictional Elite high school and it revolves around the relationships between three working-class students enrolled at the school through a scholarship program and their wealthy classmates.
While this 4th season is looking into a few months after some of those students left school, a strict principal and 4 new students arrive at the school, bringing an onslaught of romantic entanglements, intense rumours and a fresh mystery.
