Singer, Diamond Platnumz has in light of the scandal trailing him, admitted that he indeed cheated on his baby mama/wife, Zari Hassan with a model Hamisa Mobeto, who has now welcomed a son for him.
Hamisa, who was a vixen for the singer’s hit song “Salome”, had revealed a while back that she was with child for the singer after they had an affair – an allegation he’d however denied the responsibility of.
Speaking during a radio interview today with popular Tanzanian show, Leo Tena, the singer admitted to being the father of the baby boy named Abdul Latif. And according to him, Zari was aware the whole time of what happened between him and Hamisa while she was busy taking care of her businesses in South Africa.
The singer alleged that he was able to explain to Zari and she was supportive of him, and his mother was the first to visit Hamisa after she gave birth.
He’s quoted as saying:
“These things happen in life but the most important thing is how you deal with it as a man. There is no need of creating a war where there is none. Later on in life, the children will grow up together and they will be happy as a family.”
He however accused his new baby mama of using the situation to destroy his relationship with Zari – he claimed that they had an agreement that he would provide for the child and in return Mobetto would remain silent on the issue so as not to hurt Zari.
Hamisa however disagreed, even after claims to have done everything possible to ensure the baby and her are well taken care off, including buying her a new car and paying an allowance.
Now Zari on the other hand, has come out to react to his statement of her being aware of his infidelity – in a Snapchat post some moments ago, she calls him out about the lies he’s telling the media.
She says he should fix the mess he’s in rather than tell lies… She further threatens him, as she says he should educate himself with “defamation of character law suit“…
