Brooklyn Beckham is definitely following in his dad’s footsteps as he unveiled yet another tattoo. David and Victoria’s eldest child debuted yet another inking on Instagram yesterday.
The 19-year-old, who got his first tatt in April last year and has since had some nine designs inked on his body, posted a black and white snap of the ballet dancer design.
The tattoo shows a girl with long hair and a star on her head dancing in a pretty lace tutu.
Brooklyn added to his growing body art collection at Bang Bang NYC tattoo parlour in New York, a favourite with Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus. Dad David flew into the Big Apple to accompany his son, who was tattooed by Sanghyuk Ko, known as Mr. K.
The artist also shared a picture of the tattoo, with the caption: “@brooklynbeckham for his baby sister #brooklynbeckham #mrktattoo”. Mr. K has inked a number of Brooklyn’s tatts, including a tribute to his three siblings.
The proud brother showed off the tiny design on his arm on social media back in December. The ink reads: “02 05 11.” While most of his fans got the reference immediately, others couldn’t work out what it meant.
“The year his brothers and sister were born 2002, 2005, 2011,” one fan pointed out. Last month, Brooklyn debuted an inking in honour of mum Victoria. He posted a black and white snap of the word ‘mum’ written across a heart and three roses on his Instagram.
Famous Los Angeles-based tattoo aritst Dr Woo, who has also worked on Brooklyn before, was behind the aspiring photographer’s touching design. And while it looks like there’s no stopping Brooklyn and his ever-growing ink collection, dad David said he should be careful that he doesn’t get anything he will regret.
Footie legend Becks is thought to have more than 50 – his first being Brooklyn’s own name on his lower back. But the dad of four said of avoiding fashion pitfalls: “Thankfully I don’t feel I’ve made any with my tattoos. My son’s started and I’m sure he’ll make mistakes. “But it’s part and parcel of life and being creative. That’s something you can’t stop someone doing, it holds them back.”
Brooklyn’s tattoos include a camera on his arm and the word ‘click’ on his shutter finger, along with the ‘Mama’s Boy” across his left pec.
He also has a rose on his right side – while the words ‘Made In England’ along his foot put paid to the long-held belief he was conceived in the New York district he is named after. Former football player David has the names of all his children on his body and wife Victoria’s name in Sanskrit.
