Saido Mane and Asisat Oshoala have won the men and women CAF footballer of the year respectively.
Saido Mane has been runner up in 2 previous years which saw Egyptian Mo Salah grab the awards but the Senegalese winger finally got his turn to shine as he nicked the award ahead of Mo Salah and Mahrez.
Asisat Oshoala has been a perpetual female footballer of the year winner since 2015 and has now won the award 4 years on the row.
Asisat took to her instagram page to post a thanksgiving message:
