The 26-year-old midfielder has been getting back to his best form of late, but now could face another spell on the sideline
Jack Wilshere has picked up a fresh injury concern after limping off against Chelsea on Wednesday.
The Arsenal captain seemed to tweak his ankle slightly after successfully closing down a Cesar Azpilicueta cross, and had to be removed in the 57th minute of a Carabao Cup semi-final first leg.
The knock comes as a cruel blow to the oft-injured Wilshere, who has made seven consecutive league starts for the Gunners, playing all 90 minutes in each of those matches.
