We don’t often see a lot of movies do well at the box office nowadays, and this is following the pandemic that rocked the world in 2020 and 2021, a led to many movie productions being put on hold. We saw that majority of the movies released during this period didn’t perform so well at the box office.
Since then, we have noticed that not many films have been struggling to break into the box office; that was until we saw movies like Black Widow, 007, Spiderman, and many others break into the box office last has given films a boost this year.
A few months into the year, several movies perform well upon their release. We have seen the likes of Morbius, Batman, Uncharted, Turning Red, and many others perform so well at the box office, and I want to do a review on the animation.
Turning Red. Although not many people watch animations, as some believe it is for kids, that is not the case, as many of these animations are better than the movies people watch.
We have seen many animations perform very well, animations such as Sonic: The Hedgehog, Hotel Translyvania, and we can add the latest, Turning Red. Turning Red is one of the best animations I have watched. Where this animation offers you almost everything, and with 94% ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, it is something that I would recommend to anyone.
Turning Red is a 2022 American computer-animated fantasy comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. The animation stars the voices of some popular actors like Sandra Oh, Rosalie Chang, Maitreyi Ramakrishnar, James Hong and many others.
The animation talks about a 13-year-old Chinese Canadian, Meilin “Mei” Lee, who turns into a giant red panda anytime she expresses any strong emotion due to a hereditary curse. Mei transforms into a giant red panda one night after having a vivid nightmare about red pandas. She hides it from her parents at first, till her mother sees her transform into a big red panda in school, and her parents are forced to talk to her about the curse.
