Chelsea’s number-one shot-stopper, Kepa Arrizabalaga has been named the winner of the Castro Premier League Save of the 2022/23 Season.
The Spaniard stopped John McGinn’s shot into the path of Ramsey, and he dived low to his right to push the midfielder’s powerful follow-up onto a post and away from the goal. The save was during the Premier League game between Chelsea and Aston Villa in October 2022.

The save by Kepa is one of the eight Castrol Saves of the Month throughout the season that were shortlisted for the Save of the Season award. The Chelsea man beat those of Nick Pope, Gavin Bazunu, David De Gea, Aaron Ramsdale, and, Jordan Pickford.
Congratulations to him and Chelsea.
