Most people often say they don’t watch animations, or animations are for kids, but one I saw people watch regardless is Boss baby.
Back in 2017, when the first instalment was released, a lot of people watched it and it had quite a lot of positive reviews, as the drama was quite interesting to watch. As the movie grossed $528 million compared to its $125 million budget.
And now in 2021, they released a sequel to the 2017 instalment, this time focusing on the life of Tim and his brother, Ted, and how they grew apart over time.
The boss baby 2, also known as The Boss Baby: Family Business, is a 2021 American computer-animated film, loosely based on the 2010 picture book, the Boss baby and the 2017 first instalment, the Boss baby 1.
Personally, I felt the movie was interesting enough, but for those who might have expected more from the producers were quite disappointed, as there was nothing new and different about this movie.
Yes, it was interesting to watch, but when compared to the first instalment, this one was really behind on a lot of things. As much as they tried to promote the love between siblings, I just felt that there were quite a lot of unnecessary scenes in the movie.
The movie was chaotic and the storyline was loose. If asked which I prefer, I would pick the first instalment any day, but asides from its flaws, it was quite nice to watch.
The movie stars the voices of Alec Baldwin, James Marsden, Amy Sedaris, Jeff Goldblum, Jimmy Kimmel and Lisa Kudrow.
The movie focuses on the now adult Templeton brothers. The two brothers are brought back together after the new Boss baby. Tina Templeton requests their help to stop the principal of Tim’s daughter’s school from erasing childhoods worldwide.
