We have not been starved of movies this year, as we have been getting movie releases back to back.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic last year, a lot of movie releases had to be put on hold, as people could not go to theatres or cinemas to see new movie releases and upcoming movies could not be filmed because of the lockdown restrictions that were put in place.
But this year, movies that were not released are now getting released, as people can now go to the cinemas and movie scenes can now be recorded. This is why we have been getting various movie releases back to back.
And a new movie series that was released is one called NOBODY. Nobody is an American action thriller movie which was directed by Ilya Naishuller and was written by Derek Kolstad. The movie stars the popular actor, Bob Odenkirk and other actors such as Connie Nielsen, Aleksei Serebryakov, RZA, Michael Ironside and Christopher Lloyd.
When I read the description of the movie, the first thing that came to my mind was that the movie would be something like John Wick, as the movie was all about vengeance.
And I was not mistaken when I watched it. The movie talked about a man who became the target of a vengeful drug Lord after he helped a woman from being harassed on the bus.
The movie was a bit off for me, I didn’t enjoy it like I thought I would, and the movie was not all that captivating. Yes, the action was good, the comic relief was on point, but the movie felt like it was missing something, as there were so many loopholes in the movie, as after watching the movie, I had so many unanswered questions.
I found myself skipping so many scenes in the movie, the movie was good, but it was not great. Now I know why so many people said the movie was overrated.
