There are quite a lot of movies to look out for this year, due to a lot of movie rescheduling done last year as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. However, for the month of June, there is just 2 major blockbuster that would be in cinemas. Which are;
The Conjuring 3; The Devil Made Me Do It: the conjuring series is definitely one that would not be unfamiliar among people, as most people seem to have watched The Nun, Anabelle or even The Conjuring 1 and 2, which are all part of the Conjuring franchise and this Conjuring will be the 8th installment of the overall conjuring universe franchise.
The Conjuring is an American supernatural horror film, and this The Conjuring 3 will serve as a sequel to 2013 and 2016’s The Conjuring 1&2.
In this movie, Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will be keeping their roles as paranormal investigators and Ed and Lorraine Warren, Ruairi O’connor, Sarah Catherine Hook and Julian Hilliard will also be starring.
The movie will be based on the true story of the trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, which was a trial that took place in Connecticut, the movie talks about the true chilling story of murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren.
As it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they had ever seen, marking the first time in US history that a murder suspect that will claim demonic possession as a defense.
It was announced officially that the movie was in development in 2017, and was scheduled for release in September 2020, but due to the impact of COVID, It’s release was delayed to the 4th of June 2021.
Venom; The Marvel superhero franchise is not one that is new to anyone, as most people would have heard or watched movies like Avengers, Spider-Man, Iron man and the likes.
Well those of us that have been anticipating new movies from Marvel have finally gotten our prayers answered as a sequel for Venom will be released on the 25th of June.
The movie Venom is a superhero film based on the already created Marvel Character; Venom which was first released in 2018. The sequel is said to star Tom Hardy, Woody Harrelson, Reid Scott, Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris and many more.
The plans for a sequel began during the production of the first part, whereby we saw Woody Harrelson make a brief appearance as Cletus Kasady at the end of Venom 1, with the intention of him becoming the villain in the sequel.
The filming of the sequel then began in January 2019 till February 2020, then the title was announced in April 2020 and was scheduled to be released in October 2020 but was then delayed to June 25th due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Other top movies to watch out for in the month of June are: Minions, Cinderella, Luca, Top Gun Maverick and many more.
