Top Movies To Watch Out For In 2020

Still in the first month of the year, and the movie industry already has a lot in stock for us, ranging from movies we have so much anticipated the next part to new movies, trust me when I say there are so many mind-blowing movies to watch out for this 2020, sadly I can not list them all but I would give you 5 top movies that I too am anticipating this year. So keep your eyes opened for these movies;

1. THE CONJURING: The Devil Made Me Do It.

After the release of the conjuring adjacent spin-off, The Curse Of La Llorona on the 19th of April, Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson are back in this thriller as Lorraine and Ed Warren, investigating a real case where a murder suspect invoked q demonic possession as an act of defence for the crimes he committed. Michael Chaves who directed the spin-off, is set to direct this one too. And it’s release date is set to the 11th of September 2020.

2. FAST AND FURIOUS 9.

After the release of the much loved Hobbes and Shaw, which Dwanye Johnson and Jason statham still managed to pull off happened to be a spin-off of the Fast and Furious 7. And the franchise would be back on the 22nd of May 2020, to release Fast and Furious 9, starring Vin Diesel, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson and many more. I advise you not to sleep on this one because the same director, Justin Lin who has been there for the rest of the franchise is going to be directing this one too, and he promises it’s going to be a hit.

3. NO TIME TO DIE.

After a long wait since Spectre which was released in 2015, the 007 franchise is back with its 25th edition. Starring Daniel Craig, with his fifth and probably last turn as 007, and Cary Fukanaga as the director. In the movie are regulars like Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and many more and returning casts like Jeffrey Wright and Lea Seydoux, and the best winning actor, Rami Malek is said to be starring as the villain in this one. With the movie set to be released on the 8th of April, do not miss it.

4. BAD BOYS FOR LIFE

After 17 years of waiting, the sequel of Bad Boys which was released last in 2003 was finally released a couple of days ago, on the 17th of January, starring Will Smith as Mile Lowrey and Martin Lawrence as Marcus Burnett. Aside from getting a 77% rating on rotten tomatoes and 7.4 out of 10 rating on imdb, the movie happens to be the highest grossing movie of 2020 with $215.6million in the box office after a budgeted $90million. The directors in charge of this production are Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. This thriller and crime movie stars other actors like, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Milton and many more. The movie is still showing in the cinemas, so what are you waiting for?

5. FREE GUY.

This movie being a little different from the other movies mentioned above, because in it we have Ryan Reynolds and you can guess that it is going to be filled with a lot of witty comments and humour as that is who Ryan Reynolds is. In this movie, he acts as a bank teller named Guy who happens to be a background character in a video game called Free city, such that the game will soon go offline. With Shawn Levy as the director, and Taika Waititi, Jody Comer, Joe Keery as part of the cast, the movie is set to be released on the 3rd of July 2020.
