Harrysong and Soso Sobrekon, whose exit from their Five Star Music sparked controversy and led to several court cases, shaded their former label on Instagram
Soso Soberekon who shared a new photo of himself on a Private Jet, wrote; ‘Your star can be five but greed can turn it to one.’
Reacting to the post, Harrysong also wrote; Greed, pride & lies killed the star
Before now Soso, who worked with Five Star music for more than 10 years, said he left Five Star Music because it was time for him to move on, after contributing successfully to the success of the label that is owned by Limpopo singer, Kcee and his younger brother, E-Money.
In a statement, he said:
“Against any unfounded and baseless rumor, I wish to state that I single-handedly took the decision to move on to pursue my dream as an entrepreneur, having spent over ten years of diligently working with the company.”
He said further:
“As a founding member, through dedication and hard work, I was able to build FIve Star into an entertainment brand that is today recognized globally. It is not out of place to chart a new course for myself, on the other hand, a song on the other hand departed the Five Star Music label acrimoniously in November 2016 and was embroiled in a cold war with the record label over the breach of contract.
However after Harrysong and Soso Sobrekon got a court Injunction from the music label, Harrysong wrote;
“I have never seen where a lady is gang-raped and beaten up mercilessly and at same time asked not to cry. Even though you and I know you offended me, I listened to the voice of elders and apologized to you despite all the oppression, yet my success causes you running stomach. And to my fans out there, please brace up for impact, since they have decided to hold us down by all means, We are ready to prove them wrong by all means…, less I forget, help me ask them, what is my crime this time.”
