2 Test Positive For Monkey Pox Virus In Lagos After Arriving From Bayelsa Where They Ate Bush Meat
Lagos State Government has urged residents to remain calm and be vigilant as the state just recorded 2 suspected Monkey Pox cases.
The state’s Health Commissioner Dr Jide Idris told reporters today that the two victims just came from Bayelsa state where they ate bush meat.
He added that they had been quarantined to curb the spread of the virus.
Idris urged residents to call Lagos State Ministry of Health at 08037170614, 09087106072 to report any suspected case of Monkey Pox.
